Outlook, especially the newer versions, will try to automatically detect your server settings. However, it’s often more reliable to use the manual setup.

  1. Open Outlook and go to File > Add Account.

  2. Enter your full email address and click on Advanced options.

  3. Check the box that says Let me set up my account manually and then click Connect.

  4. Choose your account type. For a standard setup that syncs across all devices, select IMAP.

Entering Server Settings

You will now be prompted to enter the server details. Use the information you provided:

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

  • Server: imap.hostinger.com

  • Port: 993

  • Encryption method: Choose SSL/TLS.

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

  • Server: smtp.hostinger.com

  • Port: 465

  • Encryption method: Choose SSL/TLS.

Login Credentials

  • Username: Your full email address.

  • Password: Your email password.

Completing the Setup

  1. Click Next to let Outlook test the connection.

  2. If the test is successful, you will be prompted to name your account and set a display name for outgoing emails.

  3. Click Done to complete the setup.

Your email account should now be configured in Outlook. If you encounter any issues, double-check your server settings, username, and password, as a small typo can prevent the connection from being established.
